Promoting obscenity in the first degree.

573.020. 1. A person commits the crime of promoting obscenity in thefirst degree if:

(1) He or she wholesale promotes or possesses with the purpose towholesale promote any obscene material; or

(2) He or she wholesale promotes for minors or possesses with thepurpose to wholesale promote for minors any material pornographic forminors; or

(3) He or she promotes, wholesale promotes or possesses with thepurpose to wholesale promote for minors material that is pornographic forminors via computer, Internet or computer network if the person made thematter available to a specific individual known by the defendant to be aminor.

2. Promoting obscenity in the first degree is a class D felony.
