Private land, retrieval of wildlife, permission of ownerrequired--penalty for violation.

578.525. 1. No person shall, while engaged in the retrieval ofwildlife from private land that is not owned or in the possession of suchperson with permission of the landowner or lessee of the land:

(1) Intentionally drive or flush any large or small game located onthe land toward other hunters of the retriever's same hunting group locatedon other parcels of land or right-of-ways; or

(2) Intentionally discharge a firearm at large or small game thatoriginates from the private land during retrieval.

2. Unlawful retrieval of large or small game is a class Bmisdemeanor.
