Documents deemed filed, when--timeliness of acts performed--facsimiletransmissions.

621.205. 1. For the purpose of determining whetherdocuments are filed within the time allowed by law, documentstransmitted to the administrative hearing commission byregistered mail or certified mail shall be deemed filed with theadministrative hearing commission as of the date shown on theUnited States post office records of such registration orcertification and mailing. If the document is sent by any methodother than registered mail or certified mail, the administrativehearing commission shall deem it to be filed on the date theadministrative hearing commission receives it.

2. When the last day prescribed for performing any actprescribed by this chapter or chapter 536, RSMo, or thecommission, falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or a legal holiday inthis state, the performance of such act shall be timely if it isperformed on the next succeeding day which is not a Saturday,Sunday, or legal holiday.

3. The administrative hearing commission may by regulationprovide for the filing of documents with the commission byelectronic facsimile transmission.
