630.030. The director shall appoint the directors of thedivisions of the department, and such division directors shallserve at the pleasure of the director. The director shall be theappointing authority under chapter 36, RSMo, to employ suchadministrative, technical and other personnel who may be assignedto the department generally rather than to any of the departmentdivisions or facilities and whose employment is necessary for theperformance of the powers and duties of the department.
