Violation of certain requirements unlawful, penalty--false statementsunlawful, penalty.

643.191. 1. It is unlawful for any person to knowinglyviolate any applicable standard, limitation, permit condition orany fee or filing requirement promulgated pursuant to sections643.010 to 643.190 or any rule promulgated thereunder. Anyperson violating the provisions of this subsection shall, uponconviction thereof, be subject to a fine of not more than tenthousand dollars per day of violation or part thereof.

2. It is unlawful for any person to knowingly make a falsestatement, representation or certification in any form, in anynotice or report required by a permit or to knowingly renderinaccurate any monitoring device or method required to bemaintained by the permitting authority under sections 643.010 to643.190. Any person violating the provisions of this subsectionshall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine of not morethan ten thousand dollars for each instance of violation.
