Conversion of manufactured home to real property,procedure--conversion prohibits other classification by politicalsubdivision.

700.111. 1. The owner of a manufactured home may convertthe manufactured home to real property by:

(1) Attaching the manufactured home to a permanentfoundation situated on real estate owned by the manufactured homeowner; and

(2) The removal or modification of the transportingapparatus including but not limited to wheels, axles and hitchesrendering it impractical to reconvert the real property thuscreated to a manufactured home.

2. The conversion of a manufactured home to real propertyby the method provided in subsection 1 of this section shallprohibit any political subdivision of this state from declaringor treating that manufactured home as other than real property.
