     32-9-102. License requirement -- registration. (1) Unless exempt under 32-9-104, a person may not act as a mortgage broker, mortgage lender, or mortgage loan originator with respect to any residential real estate located in Montana unless licensed under the provisions of this part.
     (2) Any person acting as a mortgage broker, mortgage lender, or mortgage loan originator under this part is required to be licensed and registered with and maintain a valid unique identifier issued by the nationwide mortgage licensing system and registry by the date set forth in 32-9-105(4).
