     87-1-204. Political activity of employees. While retaining the right to vote as the employee pleases and to express opinions on all political questions, an employee of the department may not use the employee's official authority or influence for the purpose of interfering with an election or affecting the results of an election or for the purpose of coercing or influencing the political actions of any person or body.
