19-1104. Violations; penalty.Any village or city clerk, or treasurer, failing or neglecting to comply with the provisions of sections 19-1101 to 19-1103 shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall, upon conviction, be fined, not to exceed twenty-five dollars, and be liable, in addition to removal from office for such failure or neglect.
