23-1605. Semiannual statement; publication.The county treasurer of each county shall, during the months of July and January of each year, cause to be published in a legal newspaper, and in counties having more than two hundred fifty thousand inhabitants in a daily legal newspaper printed in the county, or if there is no legal newspaper published in the county, in a legal newspaper of general circulation within the county, a tabulated statement of the affairs of his office, showing the receipts and disbursements of his office for the last preceding six months ending June 30 and December 31.
