60-6,121. Placing and maintaining traffic control devices; local authorities.Local authorities in their respective jurisdictions shall place and maintain such traffic control devices upon highways under their jurisdictions as they deem necessary to indicate and to carry out the provisions of the Nebraska Rules of the Road or to regulate, warn, or guide traffic. All such traffic control devices erected pursuant to the rules shall conform with the manual. Tadros v. City of Omaha, 269 Neb. 528, 694 N.W.2d 180 (2005).
