407.013 Declaration of legislative intent. It is the intention of the Legislature that the Division shall acquire, protect, develop and interpret a well-balanced system of areas of outstanding scenic, recreational, scientific and historical importance for the inspiration, use and enjoyment of the people of the State of Nevada and that such areas shall be held in trust as irreplaceable portions of Nevada’s natural and historical heritage.
