439B.115  “Major hospital” defined.  “Major hospital” means a hospital in this State which has 200 or more licensed or approved beds, or any hospital in a group of affiliated hospitals in a county which have a combined total of 200 or more licensed or approved beds, that is not operated by a federal, state or local governmental agency.
