490.026   “Consignment” defined. [Effective 1 year after the date the Interim Finance Committee issues a notice to the Department of Motor Vehicles that adequate money is available to begin registering off-highway vehicles or on July 1, 2011, whichever is sooner, and expires by limitation on July 1, 2011, if such notice is not given before that date.]  “Consignment” means any transaction whereby the registered owner or lienholder of an off-highway vehicle subject to registration pursuant to this chapter agrees, entrusts or in any other manner authorizes a consignee to act as his or her agent to sell, exchange, negotiate or attempt to negotiate a sale or an exchange of the interest of the registered owner or lienholder in the off-highway vehicle, whether or not for compensation.

      (Added to NRS by 2009, 3078, effective 1 year after the date the Interim Finance Committee issues a notice to the Department of Motor Vehicles that adequate money is available to begin registering off-highway vehicles or on July 1, 2011, whichever is sooner, and expires by limitation on July 1, 2011, if such notice is not given before that date)
