687B.408  Notifications required concerning changes related to prescription drugs used for transplanted organs.  If a policy of health insurance issued pursuant to chapter 689A, 689B, 689C, 695A, 695B, 695C or 695G of NRS includes coverage for a prescription drug that is necessary for an insured to prevent the rejection of a transplanted organ, the insurer must notify the insured and, if known, the physician of the insured who prescribed the drug at least 30 days before a change in the formulary of the insurer within the plan year which affects that prescription becomes effective.
