By following the procedures of RSA 21-I:28, the commissioner of administrative services, after consultation with the governor and council, may contract for or purchase managed care program services and similar services directly related to the provision and monitoring of workers' compensation benefits payable to state employees. Such services may be combined with one or more group health insurance contracts authorized by RSA 21-I:28.
