Written complaints filed with the board against a licensed water well contractor or a licensed pump installer shall be public records. The board may maintain a registry of written complaints. If such a registry is established, the board shall establish, by rules adopted pursuant to RSA 541-A, a procedure for providing information contained in the registry to the public. Written complaints shall be removed from the registry upon the request of the licensee, provided that the board has not received a written complaint for 3 consecutive years prior to the date of the request.
