The division of state police shall record and update on its computer system on a daily basis the names of all persons for whom there are outstanding arrest warrants for misdemeanors in this state, along with a statement of all arrest warrants for misdemeanors each person has pending. The information recorded shall be made available upon request to all local and state law enforcement agencies and officers. The department of safety and its employees and agents shall not be held liable for errors of omission or commission in the recording and maintenance of this information unless the error is shown to be the result of gross negligence or an intentional act.
