   If the multidisciplinary team finds the person meets the definition of a sexually violent predator, the county attorney or attorney general may file a petition within 14 days with the superior court alleging that the person is a sexually violent predator and stating facts sufficient to support such allegation. If the county attorney or attorney general does not file a petition within 14 days, and the person is otherwise subject to release, the person shall be released.
