The members of the commission shall devote their entire time to the service of the commission. No member of the commission shall be directly or indirectly interested in the liquor or beverage business. The compensation and expenses of the commissioners and the expenses of the administration of this chapter shall be paid by the state on the warrant of the governor with the approval of the council.
