Whenever there is any provision of this subdivision or any other statute defining a particular kind or type of milk or milk product or setting forth requirements as to the chemical or bacteriological components, standards or requirements for any kind or type of milk or milk products, or specifying standards or methods for the processing, treatment or packaging or labeling of the same, or when the milk sanitation board shall have lawfully established any such definitions or requirements by regulations, the provisions of such chapter, statute or regulation shall supersede any definition or requirements for the same which may be contained in any city ordinance or town regulation, whether made under a statute or an ordinance; provided that nothing contained in this section shall be construed to alter or impair any of the powers conferred on cities and towns in the state by the provisions of RSA 184, except to the extent that the same may be inconsistent with the provisions of this subdivision, or any other statute or of any lawful regulation established as hereunder provided.
