The minimum size of all apples in all grades, except unclassified apples as defined in RSA 434:19, shall be marked upon the package and shall be determined by taking the transverse diameter of the smallest fruit in the package at right angles to the stem and blossom ends. Minimum sizes shall be stated in variations of 1/8 of an inch, such as 2 inches, 2- 1/8 inches, 2- 1/4 inches and so forth, in accordance with the facts.
