Unless otherwise herein provided, any person convicted of a violation of any provision of Title XVIII, or of any rule or regulation made under authority thereof, shall be guilty of a violation for the first offense. For any subsequent offense committed during the same calendar year he shall be guilty of a violation if a natural person, or guilty of a misdemeanor if any other person.
