The existence of such trust company shall begin upon the filing of the organizational instrument with the secretary of state. Any trust company organized under this chapter shall begin business within 2 years from the date of its organization; otherwise its charter shall be void, unless the board of trust company incorporation, for good cause shown, shall grant one extension for not more than one year.
