Any corporation organized under the laws of this state which has been authorized by the commissioner to issue variable contracts shall deposit all securities representing the assets of a segregated fund for a variable contract account and all uninvested cash of such a fund with a custodian which shall be a bank or trust company, either within or without the state of New Hampshire, approved by the commissioner.
