17:12B-234.  Creditors; claims barred    The association shall give public notice that all persons having claims against it, shall present them under oath, at the association's office, within 3 months from the date of such notice, or be barred, forever after, from any action therefor.  Such notice shall be advertised at least once each week for 12 successive weeks, in at least 2 newspapers published in the county in which the association has its principal office, and shall bear the date of the day of  the first publication.  Within 10 days after the date of such notice a copy  thereof shall be mailed to each of the association's creditors addressed to his  last known post-office address. Proof of such publication and mailing shall be  filed with the commissioner.

    If the association disputes all or any part of any claim which is duly presented to it, and gives written notice to such dispute to the claimant, his attorney, or agent, such claimant shall institute suit thereon within 30 days from the receipt of such notice or be barred forever after, from any action therefor.
