Oaths Each governor and each trustee taking office, before entering on the duties of his office, shall take and subscribe an oath or affirmation to support the constitution of the state of New Jersey and of the United States, to bear allegiance to the government of the state, and to perform the duties of his office faithfully, impartially and justly, to the best of his ability.
