The board shall not require completion of continuing education credits for any registration periods commencing within 12 months of the effective date of P.L.2004, c.167 (C. 45:14E-16 et al.). The board shall require completion of continuing education credits on a pro rata basis for any registration periods commencing more than 12 but less than 24 months following the effective date of P.L.2004, c.167 (C.45:14E-16 et al.).
