40-7A-2. Purpose.

The purpose of the Child Placement Agency Licensing Act [40-7A-1 NMSA 1978] is to facilitate the licensing of child placement agencies for the placement of abused, neglected, dependent or homeless children in a stable and loving environment where a healthy and normal parent-child relationship may exist between the foster or adoptive parent and the child.
