§ 114‑18.  Governor authorized to transferactivities of Central Prison Identification Bureau to the new Bureau;photographing and fingerprinting records.

The records and equipment of the Identification Bureau now establishedat Central Prison shall be made available to the said Bureau of Investigation,and the activities of the Identification Bureau now established at CentralPrison may, in the future, if the Governor deem advisable, be carried on by theBureau hereby established; except that the Bureau established by this Articleshall have authority to make rules and regulations whereby the photographingand fingerprinting of persons confined in the Central Prison, or clearingthrough the Central Prison, or sentenced by any of the courts of this State to serviceupon the roads, may be taken and filed with the Bureau.
