§ 116‑40.4.  Schoolof medicine authorized at East Carolina University; meeting requirements ofaccrediting agencies.

The Board of Trustees of East Carolina University is hereby authorizedto create a school of medicine at East Carolina University, Greenville, NorthCarolina.

The school of medicine shall meet all requirements and regulations ofthe Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American MedicalAssociation, the Association of American Medical Colleges, and other suchaccrediting agencies whose approval is normally required for the establishmentand operation of a two‑year medical school.
