Nothing in this Article shallprevent a local governing body from adopting and enforcing ordinances relatingto gangs and gang violence that are consistent with this Article. Where locallaws duplicate or supplement the provisions of this Article, this Article shallbe construed as providing alternative remedies and not as preempting the field. (2008‑214,s. 3.)
