§ 147‑11.  Salary andexpense allowance of Governor; allowance to person designated to representGovernor's office.

(a)        The salary of theGovernor shall be one hundred thirty‑nine thousand five hundred ninetydollars ($139,590) annually, payable monthly.

(b)        He shall be paidannually the sum of eleven thousand five hundred dollars ($11,500) as anexpense allowance in attending to the business for the State and for expensesout of the State and in the State in representing the interest of the State andpeople, incident to the duties of his office, the said allowance to be paidmonthly.

(c)        In addition to theforegoing allowance, the actual expenses of the Governor while travelingoutside the State on business incident to his office shall be paid by a warrantdrawn on the State Treasurer.
