If a member of an inspection department willfully fails to perform theduties required of him by law, or willfully improperly issues a permit, orgives a certificate of compliance without first making the inspections requiredby law, or willfully improperly gives a certificate of compliance, he is guiltyof a Class 1 misdemeanor.
