§ 160A‑231. Reassessment.

The council shall have the power, when in its judgment anyirregularity, omission, error or lack of jurisdiction in any of the proceedingsrelated thereto, has occurred, to set aside the whole of any special assessmentmade by it and thereupon to make a reassessment. In that case, all additionalinterest paid, or to be paid, as a result of the delay in confirming theassessment shall be included as a part of the project cost. The proceedingshall, as far as practicable, in all respects take place as it had with theoriginal assessments, and the reassessment shall have the same force as if ithad originally been properly made.
