§34‑14.  Application of ward's estate.

A guardian may apply anyincome received from the Veterans  Administration for the benefit of the wardin the same manner and to the same extent as other income of the estate withoutthe necessity of securing an order of court. A guardian shall not apply anyportion of the estate of his ward for the support and maintenance of any personother than his ward, except upon order of the court after a hearing, notice ofwhich has been given the proper officer of the Bureau and the Department ofMilitary and Veterans Affairs in the manner provided in G.S. 34‑10.
