§47‑71.  By president and attested by witness before January, 1900.

Any deed or conveyance forland in this State, made prior to January 1, 1900, by the president of anycorporation duly chartered under the laws of this State, and attested by awitness, is hereby declared to be a good and valid deed by such corporation forall purposes, and shall be admitted to probate and registration and shall  passtitle to the property therein conveyed to the grantee as fully as if said deedwere executed according to provisions and forms of law in force in this Stateat the date of the execution of said deed.
