§ 53‑415.  Severability.

If any provision of thisArticle, or its application, is found by any court of competent jurisdiction inthe United States to be invalid as to any trust institution or other person orcircumstance, or to be superseded by federal law, the provision shall be deemedmodified only to the extent and only in the particular circumstances necessaryto render the provision valid, and the remaining provisions of this Articleshall not be affected and shall continue to apply to any trust institution orother person or circumstance. (2001‑263, s. 1.)
