§58‑44‑45.  Policy issued to husband or wife on joint property.

Any policy of fire insuranceissued to husband or wife, on buildings and household furniture owned by thehusband and wife, either by entirety, in common, or jointly, either name of oneof the parties in interest named as the insured or beneficiary therein, shallbe sufficient and the policy shall not be void for failure to disclose theinterest of the other, unless it appears that in the procuring of the issuanceof such policy, fraudulent means or methods were used by the insured or ownerthereof. (1945, c. 378.)
