The Commissioner, by rule, mayprovide for the acceptance of an affidavit by a bonded, independent, andqualified assurance organization that has been approved by the Commissionercertifying the qualifications of a professional employer organization forlicensing under this Article in lieu of the requirements of G.S. 58‑89A‑40through G.S. 58‑89A‑60. A professional employer organizationlicensed under this section shall be exempt from the provisions of G.S. 58‑89A‑70(c),(d), and (e). (2004‑162,s. 1.)
