Statutes > North-carolina > Chapter_62A > GS_62A-49§ 62A‑49. Conditionsfor providing enhanced 911 service.
In accordance with the FCCOrder, no CMRS provider is required to provide enhanced 911 service until allof the following conditions are met:
(1) The providerreceives a request for the service from the administrator of a PSAP that iscapable of receiving and utilizing the data elements associated with theservice.
(2) Funds forreimbursement of the CMRS provider's costs are available pursuant to G.S. 62A‑45.
(3) The local exchangecarrier is able to support the requirements of enhanced 911 service. (2007‑383, s. 1(a).)
