Manufacture and Sale ofMatches and Lighters.

§ 66‑12.  Requirementsfor matches permitted to be sold.

No person, association, orcorporation shall manufacture, store, offer for sale, sell or otherwise disposeof or distribute white phosphorous, single‑dipped, strike‑anywherematches of the type popularly known as "parlor matches"; normanufacture, store, sell, offer for sale, or otherwise dispose of, ordistribute, white phosphorous, double‑dipped, strike‑anywherematches or any other type of double‑dipped matches, unless the bulb orfirst dip of such match is composed of a so‑called safety or inertcomposition, nonignitible as an abrasive surface; nor manufacture, store, sell,or offer for sale, or otherwise dispose of or distribute matches which whenpacked in a carton of 500 approximate capacity and placed in an oven maintainedat a constant temperature of 200 degrees F., will ignite in eight hours; normanufacture, store, offer for sale, sell or otherwise dispose of, ordistribute, blazer, or so‑called wind matches, whether of the so‑calledsafety or strike‑anywhere type.
