§ 74D‑5.1.  Position ofDirector created.

The position of Director ofthe Alarm Systems Licensing Board is hereby created within the Department ofJustice. The Attorney General shall appoint a person to fill this full‑timeposition. The Director's duties shall be to administer the directives containedin this Chapter and the rules promulgated by the Board to implement thisChapter and to carry out the administrative duties incident to the functioningof the Board in order to actively police the alarm systems industry to insurecompliance with the law in all aspects. The Director may issue a temporarygrant or denial of a request for registration subject to final action by theBoard at its next regularly scheduled meeting. (1985, c. 561, s. 3; 1991 (Reg.
