§86A‑3.  Qualifications for certificate as a registered barber.

A certificate of registrationas a registered barber shall be issued by the Board to any person who meets allof the following qualifications:

(1)        Has attended anapproved barber school for at least 1528 hours.

(2)        Has completed a 12‑monthapprenticeship under the supervision of a licensed barber, as provided in G.S.86A‑24.

(3)        Has passed aclinical examination conducted by the Board.

(4)        Has submitted to theBoard the affidavit required by G.S. 86A‑24(c) certifying that theapplicant has served the apprenticeship required by subdivision (2).
