§ 90‑21.20A. Reporting by physicians of pilots' mental or physical disabilities orinfirmities.

(a)        A physician who reports to a government agency responsiblefor pilots' licenses or certificates or a government agency responsible for airsafety that a pilot or an applicant for a pilot's license or certificatesuffers from or probably suffers from a physical disability or infirmity thatthe physician believes will or reasonably could affect the person's ability tosafely operate an aircraft shall have immunity, civil or criminal, that mightotherwise be incurred or imposed as the result of making such a report.

(b)        A physician who gives testimony about a pilot's or anapplicant's mental or physical disability or infirmity in any administrativehearing or other proceeding held to consider the issuance, renewal, revocation,or suspension of a pilot's license or certificate shall have immunity from anyliability, civil or criminal, that might otherwise be incurred or imposed asthe result of such testimony.
