§96‑31.  Definitions.

As used in this Article,unless the context clearly requires otherwise, the term:

(1)        "CFS"means the common follow‑up information management system developed by theEmployment Security Commission of North Carolina as authorized under thisArticle.

(2)        "ESC"means the Employment Security Commission of North Carolina.

(3)        Repealed by SessionLaws 2000, c. 140, s. 93.1(d).

(4)        "State jobtraining, education, and placement program" or "State‑fundedprogram" means a program operated by a State or local government agency orentity and supported in whole or in part by State or federal funds, thatprovides job training and education or job placement services to programparticipants. The term does not include on‑the‑job trainingprovided to current employees of the agency or entity for the purposes ofprofessional development. (1995, c. 507, s. 25.6(a); 2000‑140, s.93.1(d).)
