3746.03 Multidisciplinary council.

The director of environmental protection, in accordance with section 121.13 of the Revised Code, shall appoint and convene a multidisciplinary council to advise the director with respect to the rules the director is required to adopt under section 3746.04 of the Revised Code. The council shall include, without limitation, one representative each from the departments of commerce, development, and health; representatives of the banking, manufacturing, utility, and real estate development industries, the regulated community, certified professionals, professions whose members have practical experience in the investigation or remediation of releases of hazardous substances or petroleum into the environment, municipal corporations, counties, townships, environmental advocacy organizations, and citizens organizations whose members are knowledgeable about the cleanup of sites identified pursuant to the “Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980,” 94 Stat. 2779, 42 U.S.C.A. 9601, as amended, and regulations adopted under it; and toxicologists employed by state universities as defined in section 3345.011 of the Revised Code and medical professionals.
