4105.03 Superintendent to hire assistant and general inspectors.

The superintendent of labor, with the consent of the director of commerce, shall hire an assistant who has at least ten years of experience in the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of elevators and their appurtenances.

The superintendent, with the consent of the director , and in compliance with Chapter 124. of the Revised Code, may appoint and hire general inspectors of elevators from the holders of certificates of competency.
