5107.17 Resuming participation following sanction.

An assistance group that resumes participation in Ohio works first following a sanction under section 5107.16 of the Revised Code is not required to do either of the following:

(A) Reapply under section 5107.12 of the Revised Code, unless either of the following applies:

(1)It is the assistance group’s regularly scheduled time for an eligibility redetermination;

(2)The county department of job and family services does not receive the completed compliance form established in rules adopted under section 5107.05 of the Revised Code within the period of time specified in rules adopted under that section.

(B) Enter into a new self-sufficiency contract under section 5107.14 of the Revised Code, unless the county department of job and family services determines it is time for a new appraisal under section 5107.41 of the Revised Code or the assistance group’s circumstances have changed in a manner necessitating an amendment to the self-sufficiency contract as determined using procedures included in the contract under division (B)(9) of section 5107.14 of the Revised Code.
