6115.64 Surplus funds - reports to court and advisory council.

Any surplus funds in the treasury of the sanitary district may be used for retiring bonds, for reducing the rate of assessment, or for accomplishing any other of the legitimate objects of the district. At least once a year, or more often if the court or, in the instance of a district organized after October 9, 1981 wholly for the reduction of populations of biting arthropods, the advisory council of the district, so orders, the board of directors of the sanitary district shall make a report to the court and the advisory council of its proceedings and an accounting of receipts and disbursements to that date, which shall be filed with the clerk of the court.

The auditor of state shall audit the accounts and reports of the district.
